Interesting, isn't it, how these hypocrites have no prob letting foreign babies starve to death or get maimed and killed in war zones, but abortion anywhere (especially here) just makes them start ranting? Not to mention shooting doctors suspected of saving women's lives at the expense of their non-viable fetuses.

And then there are the Wall Street zombies who would rather burn food (and let people starve, including babies...) than let the price of victuals drop to something affordable?

Nice world ya got there, Earthlings; so refreshingly barbaric... No wonder the Folks From Other Planets never drop in to set a spell; it's always a quick fly-by...

Not to mention their callous indifference to babies AFTER they're born. They jump and shout about saving "babies" from "murder" but they can't give two shits about whether the ones who actually get born will live in abject poverty, abuse, neglect, whatever. It's never been about children being born; it's about women being controlled.

You know it! In Terry Pratchett's book The Color of Magic, one of the characters is talking about an entirely fictitious empire, that is strangely analogous to ALL empires:
"The Empire was not built by allowing things to get out of place.

...

"The Empire likes people to stay where it puts them."

The New World Order Empire wants women, especially (but men, too), to stay In Our Place, obedient and respectful, and never dare to make decisions for ourselves, that affect OUR own lives in the most intimate and powerful ways.

And that is the name of THAT tune!

IIRC the bill did not pass. I suppose some bills are too stupid even for Mississippi.

My home state of Michigan, on the other hand, is pretty stupid in other ways. We couldn't get two of the most corrupt politicians in the state recalled. That's depressing...

But good for Mississippi!
